2019 Wedding Trends to Keep An Eye Our For This Summer

THE GUEST EXPERIENCE

Weddings are becoming more and more personal, with unique detail providing a custom experience. “I love how personal weddings have become” Jen shares. “Whimsy expressions, texture, innovation and intimacy are a lot of what I’m seeing: Layered and cozy experiences including velvet, unique mediums for printed materials (like leather), and intimate vignettes for your guests to sit together and have a moment. Grand entrances/exits, video mapping, statement cakes and floral installations to create an awesome first impression.”

FOOD PAIRINGS AND CRAFT COCKTAILS

Specifically, of the local variety, with the sustainable and vegetarian movement continuing to be a strong trend. These are all playing out via seated menus and formal cocktail parties, which are making something of a comeback.

CANNABIS WEDDINGS

Juls has seen it all and we know more is yet to come! “I’ve had couples choose to put joints or edibles in welcome gifts, while others choose to have full-blown cannabis bars in addition to the traditional alcohol bar!”

LOTS OF COLOR

2019 will see summer filled with bold color palettes. Jen said she’s seeing “everything from moody dark tones to vibrant pastels.” Also becoming more popular in colorful expressions are pampas grass and balloon installations.
